There is no need to give up either forehead reduction or hair transplantation.
There is a more suitable method depending on the height and width of the forehead.
It can be compared to glue and tape.
Both attach things, but sometimes glue works better,
and sometimes only tape will work.
The optimal method simply varies depending on the clinical presentation.

The part line in women
is highly visible from the front.
At the part line, the hairs do not overlap,
so even at the same density, the scalp may become more visible.
If the hairline is lowered significantly through transplantation,
the density at the part line may appear low,
and the scalp is more likely to be visible.
Even after multiple touch-ups, it may still look sparse.
In such cases, it is better to first reduce the height
through forehead reduction.

If the issue is not forehead height but deep M-shaped recession,
or wide temples, hair transplantation is a better option.
If scalp elasticity is low,
or crown density is low,
or the scalp is thin,
or the skin tone is dark,
forehead reduction is not recommended.
